Throwing parties has always been a favorite hobby of mine. When I envisioned a blessing for my sweet baby girl, I pictured whites & golds with whimsical details. With the help of my sisters, this magical celebration came to be. I wasn't wanting to be stressed with food prep the morning of, so I chose a salad bar theme. Complete with fruit, chicken & rolls, it was equally pretty as it was delicious. My older sister made the gorgeous lemon blueberry cake pictured & I just topped it with some of the flowers used as centerpieces.
First thing first - I had to find Poppy the perfect dress. I found this pleated ivory perfection from Gap, and knew fresh flower crowns were a must. I created these on my own (at midnight the night before, might I add ;) procrastination is my motivation) & big sis had to have one to match. Anya's dress is one you have seen on here before, but it was too pretty to not use for the occasion. We threw the party in our backyard, and with it being the beginning of fall, it was beautiful weather. Everything about this day was heavenly; from the sweet blessing my older brother gave Poppy to the outpouring love we felt from our closest friends & family.

I'll never forget the feelings I felt all day long! I am truly the luckiest girl I know.
